M.A. Laura Schaupeter
I have been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Corporate Management since the winter semester 2024/25.
I studied sociology with a minor in politics and administration at the University of Potsdam and gained my first experience in the field of empirical social research and knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods. Inspired by my qualitative Bachelor's thesis on polyamory, I continued my studies with a Master's degree in Sociology and Social Research at the University of Bremen, in which I dealt intensively with qualitative social research methods and methodologies on the one hand and gained in-depth insights into researching social relationships on the other.
During my studies in Potsdam and Bremen, I gained extensive experience at various chairs, for example, I gained insights into the topic of decision management. This helped me to always make ‘better’ and/or ‘faster’ decisions both in everyday life and at university. In addition, the various fields of research in family and couple sociology, interdisciplinary decision management, demography-orientated sports and health management and my involvement in MBAs gave me valuable specialist expertise and knowledge in qualitative and quantitative data collection.
